Instagram, Google, Twitter, Skype And Facebook All Blocked In China

The Chinese government wants total control over the communications and information of it's people. They don't have total control over Facebook or other social media platforms so they block them all together. They also don't want Google, Facebook, or Twitter gaining access to sensitive information about their citizens. Anti-communists in China were also using Facebook, this was said to be the initial reason for the blockage.
